Honoring Hazrat Masoume s birthday and national girl’s day, the women deputy of the sport and youths office of Guilan appreciated Iranian girls who are successful not only in sports but also in moral values in the Olympic amphitheater.

This event was held on November 18th in Melat Park in Rasht. Dr. Majdara, the president of Iran sport for all Federation, Guilan governor and some other officials were there too. Guilan young boys performed yoga in this event which was lively broadcasting on channel 3 IRIB.

Ms. Semiramis Dehnadi Moghadam, the director and founder of Kimiagaran Body and Mind Health Institute, was appointed by the Iran Sport For All Federation and the head of Yoga Association, Mr. Mehrdad Guran,  as the head coach of Iran Women  National Yoga team.

Guilan yoga team won the first position, gaining the maximum number of gold medals, in Tehran’s competitions for choosing national yoga team members held on May 12^th and 13^th. The team received 11 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.

On Wednesday May 4^th, a group of youngster yoga practitioners from Kimiagaran Body and Mind Health Institute went on a field trip with their coaches.

The coaches and athletes of Kimiagaran Body and Mind Health Institute gathered together, like previous years, to celebrate teachers’ day.

On Monday April 24^th, Amir Majd Ara, the chairman of Sport For All Federation, visited Guilan and veteran athletes and by attending the Guilan’s Sport For All  board, introduced the federation’s goals in the New Year.

The first provincial girls’ yoga competitions and choosing technique qualified athletes was held on April 21^st in Kimiagaran body and mind health institute. Ladies and young girls were chosen in different age groups to be sent to the second national competitions in Tehran.

Guilan’s governor, Rooh ol Lah Ghahremani, showed his appreciation to Guilan’s international yoga champions in a ceremony on January 7^th.

In this ceremony held at Namjoo Weightlifting Gym, at Yadegar e Emam Sports Complex, the Asian and international competitions’ champions and the international referees and coaches were given precious awards.

The ceremony of appreciation for Guilan’s yoga champions, who won medals in the First International Yoga Olympiad, Delhi 2010, was held on December 25^th, at the Olympic auditorium in Azodi Sports Complex with the presence of Rasht’s mayor, some members of the city council, Vice-presidents , the managers and deputy managers of Guilan’s Physical Education Organization, the members of Guilan’s Sport For All Committee and the parents and the school principals of the champions.
